We are seeking a highly skilled RF On‑Wafer Lab Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and development of our on-wafer RF characterization laboratory. In this role, you will oversee RF on-wafer probe stations, automation flows, and measurement methodologies. You will also be responsible for ISO, ESD, and safety compliance of the lab. You will collaborate closely with modeling, design, application, and innovation teams to ensure high‑quality on‑wafer measurements.

On‑Wafer lab operations

• Manage daily operations of the on‑wafer RF characterization lab, ensuring availability of probe stations for engineering teams
• Own the full lifecycle of wafer‑level equipment
• Maintain optimal lab layout and resources across multiple probe stations
• Execute calibration and maintenance for RF and probe‑station equipment
• Ensure stable measurement environments
• Manage inventory of probes, RF cables, calibration substrates, and consumable

Technical leadership

• Develop, maintain, and improve wafer‑level RF measurement procedures including Pulsed S‑parameters, DC/RF IV, thermal characterization, and on-wafer load-pull
• Support calibration flows (SOLT, TRL, LRRM, hybrid) and drive their improvements
• Ensure repeatability, accuracy, and data quality
• Execute root‑cause analysis of measurement issues
• Drive development of advanced measurement capabilities
• Own the on-wafer measurement methodology roadmap and introduce new capabilities anticipating technology needs
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and upgrades and to influence their product roadmaps to the benefit of Ampleon
• Provide technical expertise in equipment selection, budgeting and troubleshooting

User support & training

• Train engineers on probe stations and measurement setups
• Provide day-to-day technical support
• Ensure safe and correct use of lab systems                                   

Compliance                                

• Maintain ESD control and safe wafer handling procedures
• Manage lab documentation (e.g.,, operating manuals, training materials, …)
• Ensure compliance with internal quality and international standards (e.g., ISO, …)

• Work closely with device modeling, RF design, technology development, and innovation teams to anticipate and meet measurement needs

Required qualifications

• Master in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related field
• 3+ years experience in on wafer RF characterization
• Deep hands‑on experience with RF probe stations, calibration. substrates, and test equipment (especially pulsed VNA and IV systems)
• Deep understanding of RF calibration methods (SOLT, TRL, LRRM)
• Demonstrated ability to manage lab operations

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with GaN, and Si technologies for RF Power Applications
• Experience with pulsed measurements and on‑wafer testing
• Familiarity with automation techniques
• Experience with scripting and programming for lab equipment environment
