The Assembly Engineering team of Ampleon is based in Cabuyao, Philippines. You are going to be part of the team in Philippines where technologies and development engineering projects are coming together. The Philippines team is an experienced team with engaged and passionate people. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Assembly Process.
You will be the Engineer, Process in Assembly Engineering where you will be responsible for sustaining and continuously improving the Assembly Midline-Mechanical Back End manufacturing processes. The role ensures stable production, high product quality, and successful implementation of productivity and cost reduction initiatives. Assembly Processes include Saw and Trim Singulation, Debar/Dejunk Lead Conditioning, Molding, Microvision/NNI AOI and Taping, Final Visual Inspection, Molding, Sealing/Glue Cure, Laser Marking.
- Resolves day-to-day process engineering issues affecting production. Provide technical decisions and engineering dispositions.
- Drives yield improvement, process optimization, manufacturing robustness, and improvements to address internal and external customer concerns and complaints, including material issues, by performing engineering validations, buy-offs, evaluations, and qualifications.
- Generates, defines and updates assembly process specification and ensures implementation.
- Performs risk analysis/FMEA and ensures adherence to quality systems standards and procedures.
- Performs root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and present project status updates, technical reports, and executive reviews.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cycle time, productivity, quality, and cost reduction for project deliverables.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Excellence teams.

We are looking for someone who has the following background and capabilities:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering or an equivalent engineering course.
- Must have at least three (3) years relevant experience in Process Engineering, handling critical processes in Singulation, Molding, Trim and Form, Taping/AOI.
- Knowledgeable in Disco package Singulation and Molding.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
